My first walk

So, rescue day got a little better after that bath...

I got a walk through the neighborhood!  My foster people put on my leash and we were off!  First, I sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed.  Of course, my puppy-coordination isn't always the best.  All that sniffing lead me to walk straight into a telephone pole. And I may have sort of tripped into a bit of a grassy ditch.  Those foster people just laughed at me, so I wagged my tail and started sniffing along again.  Then I met some nice other dogs and got to say hello.  I even met a toddler around the corner.  I said hello with a lick on her chin and a wag of my tail.

When we got back to the foster-house, I was awful tired from all that rescue day excitement:

pretty skinny, i know.  but don't worry, these foster people are workin on fattenin' me up
